1. Chinese Massage 中式按摩
Duration: 1 hour
Price: Starting from $58
Chinese Massage techniques aim to promote overall health by easing the flow of energy, or “qi”, around the body. Therapists use kneading, chopping, and stretching motions to relieve sore points and blockages in the body’s muscular system. This massage leaves you feeling refreshed and revitalized, with cumulative benefits over several appointments.
2. Hot Oil Massage 热油按摩
Duration: 1 hour
Hot oil body massages improve skin health by ensuring hydration. They increase blood circulation, ease aches, muscle spasms, and any pain or inflammation. This massage nourishes the skin and releases tension and stress in treated muscles. You’ll feel relaxed, rejuvenated, and recharged after the session.
3. Ear Refreshing 采耳
Duration: 30 minutes
Therapists use various tools to stimulate the inside and outside of the ear canal, removing deep-seated earwax. The session begins with a head and ear massage, followed by the use of feathers, cotton swabs, and tuning forks to stimulate the acupuncture points of the ear. Besides clean ears, this treatment soothes the spirit, regulates mood, and provides deep relaxation, relieving anxiety and tension.
4. Ear Candling 耳烛
Duration: 20 minutes
Ear candling, also known as ear coning, is a centuries-old practice. A candle is placed in the ear and lit on fire. The warm heat transfers down the cone, softening built-up earwax. A gentle vacuum created by the cone then pulls out the earwax. Ear candling is believed to reduce pain from headaches, improve hearing, help with vertigo and nausea, among other benefits.
5. Cupping 拔罐
Cupping increases blood circulation to the area where cups are placed, relieving muscle tension and improving overall blood flow. It promotes cell repair, forms new connective tissues, and creates new blood vessels in the tissue.
6. Scraping 刮痧
Scraping, or gua sha, is a natural therapy that involves scraping the skin with a massage tool to improve circulation. It stimulates microcirculation of the soft tissue, increasing blood flow and addressing stagnant energy (chi) believed to be responsible for inflammation. Scraping helps reduce inflammation, promote healing, and relieve conditions associated with chronic pain.
